Yesterday was the International Holocaust Remembrance Day and I was on assignment photographing a memorial service in Stockholm that was attended by the Swedish crown princess along with the Prime Minister and several other leaders of various political parties.
This picture is taken outside of Stockholm’s Great Synagogue where there is a memorial that runs along the backside of the synagogue with the names of victims of the Holocaust. The inscription at the top reads “I will give them an eternal name that will not be eradicated.”
