Took a break from my paternity leave to photograph Idrottsgalan last night. Idrottsgalan is the annual Swedish Sports Gala where they celebrate and award the best athletes and performances from the previous year. This is now the third time I’ve covered this gala so at this point it’s a routine affair.
This is a picture of Hanna Öberg who won a gold medal in the distance competition of Biathlon at the Winter Olympics last year. Hanna won the Jerrings prize last night, which is the main prize of the evening and the only prize where the public can vote on the winner.
Now I’m going to go back to my busy schedule of not working.
