I missed the previous match the Swedish national team played in, which was the first match in the new UEFA Nations League, so I was pretty excited to go photograph this game even if it was just another international friendly. But man was it a boring one.
Less than 10,000 tickets sold for this match. Makes you wonder if they even break even with the cost of hosting the game. Can’t help but think of SvFF should consider shaking things up and have the men’s national team play in other venues around the country. They could do it for the friendly matches and keep the competitive matches at Friends Arena.
As far as the match goes John Guidetti bagged a goal at the 82nd minute and Slovakia equalized at the 84th minute. Nothing else to say really.
