I covered another concert tonight, even though it’s a little hard to top the Rolling Stones which I photographed last week. Tonight it was a show by the artist Lorde, who I have to be honest and say that I know nothing about.
I did a bit of googling and the results revealed that she is a singer from New Zealand. The show was at Annexet and from a photographer’s perspective was not much fun. The light was really dark for all 3 of the first songs. Plus we were shooting from the mixer board. The combination of bad light and the distance from the stage means there is only so much you can crop in afterwards.
Assignment wise I do not have to much on the calendar in the coming two weeks. Jenny and I are waiting on the arrival of our little daughter at the end of the month. So I cleared up most of my schedule until the start of November. But once November starts rolling it should be a great month. Concert wise there is Run The Jewels, Stone Sour, Marilyn Manson, and others. Football wise we have Sweden’s World Cup qualification play off matches. Then as always there is a whole host of royal assignments to cover.
