On Tuesday I was at Hovet to photograph what should have been a routine game for Djurgården IF as they meet IK Oskarshamn.
The following night I was back at Hovet and photographing AIK’s hockey team. Who, unlike Djurgården, is playing in Elitserien which is the top hockey division in Sweden.
It’s been a busy week with plenty of sports to shoot. I started out my first two hockey matches of the season filling in for my Pic Agency colleagues at both Djurgården and AIK’s hockey matches.
I’m not shooting much Elitserien hockey this season as I mostly filling in when other photographers are unavailable. This past Thurday I got to shoot my first hockey game of 2012, it was a match between Stockholm’s Djurgården IF and Gothenburg’s Frölunda HC.
If you read my previous post, you know that this weekend I had the chance to go ringside and photograph the Rumble of The Kings.
Lately I’m been trying to shot less and shoot better when working at sporting events. Here’s some cool pictures where the puck got frozen in time.
Photographed this weekends Hockey match between AIK and Timrå.
I had the opportunity to go and photograph a professional Hockey match last evening. I had never photographed Hockey before, and to be honest I don’t think I had even seen an entire Hockey match before, but I jumped at the chance to go.
